Terms of service

These terms apply when you use the game Splatties. When you play, you accept them. These terms are available in English, Spanish, French, German and Italian. If the texts differ, the Spanish text applies.

Who offers the game

Splatties is offered by Aleix Cos, Spain. Email: hello@playsplatties.com.

Your account

• When you open the game, the game makes a guest account for you. The access to that account is kept only on your phone. If you remove the app or change phones and you did not link the account to Apple or Google, you can lose your progress and what you bought. We recommend that you link your account from your Profile.
• You are responsible for what happens in your account. Do not sell it or share it.
• If you are younger than 14, you must have permission from a parent or guardian to play and to make purchases.

Game rules

You must not:

• Use a name that is offensive, that pretends to be a different person, or that breaks the rights of other persons.
• Cheat. For example: use bots or other programs, change the app, or use errors in the game.
• Attack or overload the servers, or try to get into the accounts of other players.

If a player breaks these rules, we can change the player's name, remove what the player got in a wrong way, or suspend or close the account.

Coins, tint and virtual items

• Coins, tint and game items (characters, paints, cosmetics and similar items) are a personal license to use them in Splatties. You do not own them. They have no money value. You cannot change them for money, and you cannot move them to a different account.
• We can change prices, rewards and items, to keep the game balanced and working.

Real-money purchases

• You buy tint through the App Store or Google Play. The store takes the payment, applies the taxes and handles refunds, under its own terms.
• The tint that you buy goes into your account immediately. When you buy, you agree that the delivery starts immediately. For this reason, when the tint is delivered, you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal that the law gives for digital content.
• If a purchase does not arrive, or if there is an error, write to us (see the support page). This does not limit your rights as a consumer under the law.
• If the store refunds a purchase, we can remove from your account the tint or what you got with it.

The service

• Splatties is an online game: you must have an internet connection. We work to keep it available, but we cannot promise that it is always available or that it has no errors.
• We can update, change or remove parts of the game. If we close the game, we will tell you at least 30 days before.

Delete your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account, or you can ask us to do it (see the support page). When we delete it, you lose all your progress, items and balance, also the tint that you bought. You cannot get them back. The privacy policy tells you which data we delete and which data we keep.

Intellectual property

The game, its characters, art, music and code belong to Aleix Cos or to the persons who licensed them. You can use them only to play. You can share screenshots and videos of your matches.

Liability

We are liable for damage that we cause on purpose or through gross negligence, and for all the cases where consumer law does not let us limit our liability. In other cases, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for problems that your connection, your device, Apple or Google cause. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer.

Changes to these terms

If we make an important change to these terms, we will tell you in the game before the change applies. If you do not agree, you can stop playing and delete your account.

Applicable law

Spanish law applies to these terms. If you are a consumer, you can go to the courts where you live. You also keep the protection that the law of your country of residence gives you.
